Serviceman, Dean, phoned 1/2 hour ahead with his ETA arriving on time. Very neat and personable. Explained my problem. Reviewed repair options with no hard sell just good logic. Finished in less than an hour. Will surely call A1 for all future work. GREAT service!
My only complaint would be that everything seemed to be an add on which increased the overall bill dramatically. Cost seemed to be excessive.
Explained all that he replaced and how to use remote pads etc.
I ask a lot of questions and I got an answer for all of them. Did not slow down work being done and explained what and why details of install.
Your technician was very friendly and helpful - did a great (easy) job.
The service was exceptional. Our new system needed adjusting, and they were quick to respond, and on-time. Totally appreciate the email notification that is sent prior to a service call. It's most helpful in this community.
I am pleased with A-1 but can't say enough about Dean. He is fast, knows what he is doing, polite and very much a perfectionist.
Actually there were no downs. My service tech, Dean, was one of the nicest, polite people I have come in contact with in a long time. I had contacted several other garage door repair companies and each told me if my problem was the mother board it would cost me around $225 to replace it. So, when Dean took a look and told me my problem was the mother board I asked him about the $165 opener he told me it is a 1/2 horse. I asked him if it would lift my heavy door and was it quiet. He said it would put a little strain on the opener but it would lift it but may not last as long as a 3/4 horse power opener. and, no, it wasn't the quietest opener. I asked for some options and he explained them to me without any "pressure" to upgrade. I did that on my own and told him I wanted the 3/4 horse, not the chain driven one and a outside key pad. I told him I didn't want new rollers or springs and he said that's OK you can do that in the future if you decide to. Again. No pressure sales pitch. Dean was friendly, knew what he was doing and did everything quickly and precisely. He is truly an employee you can be proud of. When I get new rollers and/or springs, I hope I can get Dean to install them. Nice, nice guy.
